Cock Punch of The Week: Teacher Knee Rams Pre-K Special Needs Boy Just Because

Nothing disturbs us more here at Crusade Against Bs then watching people, who otherwise could not help themselves be needlessly abused, harassed, or attacked. Last year (March 17, 2016), a teacher at a Tift County Pre-K Center in Tifton, Georgia bulled over a special needs student knocking him hard to the ground.  Please watch the video below:

Luckily, this outrageous and cowardly act was caught on video or nothing would have been made of it.  The result of this action was the teacher resigned and was arrested for 2nd degree child cruelty. The boy in the video was not seriously hurt.  However, there is a bigger issue at stake here.  The lamestream media barely covers problems like this in our society.  I briefly heard about this occurring, but it wasn’t till a friend of mine showed me the video nearly a year later hoping I  find out what was the result of this abuse was.  He also wanted to point out that this kind of stuff happens daily in our country.

In this crazy world that we live in where we argue about everything under the sun, sometimes we all have to stop a take a step back and look at the damage we are causing and the people getting left behind in the wake.   I know when this happened that the media probably had more important topics to report on, like the upcoming Presidential election.  However, sometimes we need to report on what is important in life, our children.  Abuses like this happen everyday to children with special needs.  These kids struggle daily with complex issues that they are battling within them or physical problems that none of us could ever comprehend dealing with.  In my eyes, they are little heroes and in some cases little angels. For all the horrific crap they’ve been dealt, they still manage to smile, be kind and uplifting in there innocent ways.  Then, we see this kind of barbaric shit.  An old angry teacher decides she will take out her anger on one of these delicate children by driving them to the ground in Nazi fashion.  Maybe her husband yelled at her that morning or maybe she was sick of dealing with children like the little boy she shoved.  Neither is in anyway acceptable and needs to be stopped before it happens.

Amelia Stripling was a teacher for 22 years and God only knows how many more times she may have abused children at her school.  As a nation of kind and generous people, we must battle this kind of abuse.  We must stop just hiring teachers because we are so desperate for teachers.  The government could careless of what kind of teachers they hire, just as long as they have a pulse and they are willing to teach.  What’s worse are the teacher unions who protect the teachers like Amelia Stripling.  This teacher resigned, but if she hadn’t this public funded state school would have just put her on administrative leave and she may even have kept her job.

This is a microcosm of a much larger systemic problem in our society.  The ability for bad teachers to stay on the job simply because they are protected by their unions and the government bureaucracy is part of the nightmare that is helping to turn out poorly educated and mentally screwed children from our public education system.  This is why the fight for school vouchers is so important.  By showing schools that they no longer hold the monopoly on education, maybe they will take a different approach to hiring quality teachers and fire those who aren’t doing their job or take immediate action when something like this occurs.

Protect and educate our kids.  I’ts that simple.
